Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi (2018)
Restore Me is the fourth book in the Shatter Me series . It was written by Tahereh Mafi. This book has one of the best plot twists. Juliette Ferrars thought she’d won. She took over Sector 45, was named the new Supreme Commander, and now has Warner by her side. But she’s still the girl with the ability to kill with a single touch—and now she’s got the whole world in the palm of her hand. When tragedy hits, who will she become? Will she be able to control the power she wields and use it for good?
What I loved about Restore Me was how we have each character’s POV (point of view) and it really shows how each character feels through the story something which I love. There was nothing I didn’t like because I feel like this book and the rest after this are written in a different format so now it highlights everyone’s thoughts instead of it being told by Juliette.
The genre of the series is YA dystopian, romance, action and adventure and would appeal to readers 14+ as the characters are teenagers too so it’s easier to understand their emotions through the book. If you like series like the Hunger Games or Divergent then this is the perfect book for you.
Overall, I would rate this book 4 out of 5 stars – it was one of the first books that got me into reading it will always be one of my favourites.
