Robodog by David Walliams (2023)

Robodog: the future of crime fighting! Bedlam is one of the most dangerous places on Earth – home to a host of wicked villains. Nothing and nobody are safe from these evil criminals. The book is about a robot dog who was created by a scientist to fight crime in a city full of evil cats trying to take over the world. Robodog and the four friends he makes on the journey have a great adventure with a victory at the end, after defeating an evil cat in a robot suit. Robodog and his best friend fly across the city in the night sky to end the story.

This book has everything I was expecting from a David Walliams’ novel. The story was funny, interesting, and had a great message. The writing was fast-paced, easy to follow and the characters were weird and wacky. I love this book because of how it shows how robots and technology can help develop places and create a better world.

I would recommend this book to people that are 8+ because it will make you laugh and smile, There are words that will stretch vocabs but all age appropriate. I give it Five Star rating!
