Year 7 received their ‘Bookbuzz’ books this week thanks to the generosity of the George Green’s Trust. This means that every student from Year 7 to Year 10 has a book they’ve specifically chosen to keep for their own personal library.
This year saw some fantastic titles (please see below), and we really hope you enjoy reading the book you chose and sharing your thoughts with peers.
Consider also, when you finish, writing a review to post here – simply email LRC@georgegreens.com with your thoughts and feelings about the story and the way it was told: what you liked in particular or your favourite part, what you didn’t enjoy so much. It’s great to include the type of reader you’d recommend the book to in your review, for example, fans of football/mystery stories/comedy, or any books or series you would compare it to.
If you chose the same book as a few friends, consider creating your own mini book club to share thoughts and opinions as you turn the pages.
