So This Is Ever After, F. T. Lukens (2022)

So This Is Ever After is a fantasy YA romance about a group of rag-tag companions who help a young peasant named Arek complete a prophecy in which he is destined to defeat an evil ruler and save the Kingdom of Ere.

As a temporary solution, Arek is convinced by Matt (his lifelong best friend) to claim the throne. Stuck as king, there’s one catch: to marry someone by his eighteenth birthday. With only three months and Matt being the only one in on the secret, Arek attempts desperately to find a spouse to save his life but when his plan fails miserably, Arek learns maybe true love was closer than he thought.

This book is a thrilling novel with unexpected twists and turns jam-packed with inclusivity and diversity. I really loved this book; it was heart-warming and everything you could want in a fantasy novel. I would highly recommend this book to anyone how loves magic and adventure.
