Alex Rider Never Say Die Anthony Horowitz (2017)
The plot of this story is when Alex Rider goes to look for his supposedly dead friend and housekeeper after receiving anonymous email from someone who he believes is his dead friend.
The positives of this story was the fact that I loved the way that Alex was able to push his feelings away and even hope during the darkest of times. I liked the character of Ben Daniels as he was very different from ‘Fox’ who we saw in Stormbreaker. For a short book it went at a steady pace keeping the reader intrigued. However, for me, the only thing that let it down was the ending as it was not that well written; the rest of the book was building up suspense but you could tell what the ending was pretty early on (no spoilers though!)
