Where the Crawdads Sing, Delia Owens (2018)
About the book: For years, rumours of the “Marsh Girl” have haunted Barkley Cove, a quiet town on the North Carolina coast in the US. So in late 1969, when the popular Chase Andrews is found dead, the locals immediately suspect Kya Clark, the so-called Marsh Girl. But Kya is not what they say.
I absolutely loved Where the Crawdads Sing. While it is an emotional book to read, I don’t think I would ever stop recommending it. It is amazing and if you like emotional books that make you cry, this book is definitely the one for you! Many tears were shed but I don’t regret it because the book is so beautifully written.
