Unlocking the Universe, Stephen & Lucy Hawking (2020)
Plot: Unlocking the Universe is a complicated yet amazing non-fiction book that informs its readers all about the universe. From Einstein, Darwin, Turing, Newton, and many more great scientists, this book offers great knowledge, and gives an in-depth, complex yet simple explanation of how the world works. It informs us all about the different theories from start to finish.
Positives: There are so many positives about this book! I couldn’t possibly name them all but one of the biggest positives is the diagrams, imagery and the thorough explanation of all the topics mentioned.
Negatives: Although there are loads of positives, as usual there are a few negatives. One of these negatives is that it’s quite complex for younger readers. To tackle this, I suggest this book for a more mature audience. However, if you are an advanced young reader, please do read!
Overview: I would give rate this book 4 stars, purely on the basis that I did have to do some research on the complex explanations and information, however it may be different for you!
